Both of these ladies clearly feel the same way as their reviews are nearly identical. You never like to hear that guests did not have a good experience with you. If you want to be in nature and have privacy, I would not recommend this place.… So if you are happy being around other people or like fishing this might be the place for you. I caught a couple fish right off the dock.

The lake seemed like a good place for fishing. Dan was nice and helpful with those items and was informative about area.

The couple things we did like about Brekkes is that you are close to a very nice lake and it is free to use canoes, paddleboards, kayaks, row boats and paddle boats. It did come with a complete kitchen that was decent including many kitchen utensils, pans etc. I found a pair of boxers under my bed which makes you wonder how well it is cleaned. Our beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets I was given for the sofa bed were ripped and old. The cabin itself stunk with a sign on the bathroom saying "If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down" which we did not find comical. Twice we were startled with cop cars and sirens racing down the road, so much for escaping city life. There was no individual fire pit just a little picnic area and again next to the busy highway. It was also very close to cabin next to us and right in front of another cabin giving us very little privacy. It was located right next to a busy county road so the nature sounds we heard were cars driving by. My longtime friend and I like to take a short annual trip up north to escape the city life and relax, but the four days we stayed here we didn't get much of an escape at this cabin. For this price the cabin was not worth it. It only shows weekly rates in summer and we didn't know actual daily rate of $104 until after we put down deposit and arrived there. To this reviewer thanks again for the review and we hope to see you again this August!įirst of all, daily summer prices are NOT listed on their website and so it is misleading. Anyway hope that helps if you're not familiar with places like ours. You'll also see mentions of the activities we have to offer, so if you'd like those you may well like our place. So I'd say that guests who enjoy their stay with us would, at least to a point, enjoy meeting our other guests (that's true for all resorts). Also you'll see several mentions of our bar or fire pit serving as places for guests to convene in the evenings. People that like our place tend to like that fact. Our cottages are nice but it is a rustic setting, it would be different than staying in a hotel. They come from a nice cross section of guests - first time and return guests, couples, families, and members of large groups. In your last review you mentioned that as well, and for those of you who've never been to a place like this looking at all of our reviews would give you a good idea of what our place is all about.

I would agree with your advice for those looking for luxury, as we are more on the rustic side of things. In particular thanks this time for your comments on the cleanliness of our resort and the variety of activities we offer. Thank you so much for your review! And looking through our reviews I see that you are the first to give us a second review, so thanks for both. Hotels near Pioneer Park Historical Complex.Hotels near Fisher's Resort, Bar and Grill.Rhinelander Hotels with Laundry Facilities.I love Fireside Resort, if you haven't figured that out yet. You even have a propane grill where you can grill your Cowboy steak on the front deck! Of course in December you will be hopping right back into the comfort of your "home" between grilling the steak! The location to Jackson, Teton Village and Teton National Park is perfect and I give the resort an A+++! The owners deserve it for their foresight and organization of setting up the area. I don't know if I can pick one thing in particular about the cabin or staff as all things and staff are all outstanding. It was -16 degrees one morning as I was heading out to photograph sunrise on the Tetons and we were nice and cozy inside. I refer to being home when I am down for a stay! I plan to go back again next year. I know they refer to these places now as "tiny houses" but I never feel confined so to me these are modern cabins with a real twist. I love the independence of a fully equipped "cabin" minus one's own grocery items. This is my 5th time in 6 years to visit at this time of the year and it never fails to impress me. I love staying here as I travel with my dog and this a pet friendly resort.
